About Bharat Group
Bharat Energy is a sister-concern of the Bharat Group. Formed in the early 1950's, the group was started by its founding father, Late Shri. Ramdasji Morarji Ruparel. It started as a kerosene-oil distributorship, which was then granted a license by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. in 1964. Thereafter, Bharat Transport Co. was initiated for the transportation of SKO in & around Pune. Bharat Service Centre, an Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Retail Outlet, was started in 1964.
The group is now associated with all types of energy products including SKO, LDO, FO, LSHS, MS, HSD, LPG & Natural Gas. The founding father of this group is a recipient of the prestigious "Lifetime Achievement Award" from IOCL. The group has a rich heritage spawning over 7 decades with a 5 lakh liters in-house petroleum installation depot in Pune. Currently, Bharat Group has interests in petroleums, energy, logistics, automobiles & I.T. through its different entities.
